SANKOFA FACE CREAM

You know what it is like when you have good intentions to handmake things. Well, sometimes your plans get delayed due to lack of ingredients and trying to find the right time to slot everything in.

After months of selling out of our lovely sankofa face cream, I can now happily say that we now have a new batch in stock including a limited supply of 100g jars. We still handmake our creams which can sometimes take 4 - 6 hours from preparation to decanting into the jars. Have a great weekend

UCUUBA HAIR POMADE

I love ucuuba butter. It is a tough butter to work with but the natural scent is so pleasing on the nostrils.
I made a fresh batch of our lovely ucuuba hair pomade yesterday evening. You might notice a change with the packaging but the ingredients to help promote shine and healthy hair have not changed.
Great for twisting the hair without any tacky feeling and it is vegan friendly too. Get your easy to fit palm-size container here

MORINGA HAIR POMADE

I seem to be working quite late these days ♥ I made a big batch of moringa pomade and posted the link on our Facebook fanpage around midnight on Thursday so it was really nice to receive this message this afternoon

Did i tell you how much i love the moringa pomade? I love love love it! I have to say I hate picking a favorite between the three hair butters/pomades but the moringa...wow!! I am not sure which ingredient is responsible for defining the hair so much .. and the scent of palm[kernel] oil...yummy!! just had to tell you that!!!

HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR COCOA?

The best cup of cocoa is the one that is stirred gently with lots and lots of warmed cocoa to enable you enjoy the lovely aroma.

Most of you know how I like to sing praises of my beloved shea butter but did you also know that I love cocoa butter. I love chocolates and the best cocoa is grown in Ghana [not being biased here]. :)

Happy New Year - hope you all had a peaceful time over the festive period. It was somehow frantic over here in Caversham but enjoyable. I managed to enjoy my long awaited sleep.

MONDAY 12.NOV.07

Gosh, it was really freezing today. Woke up to a -6°C down here in Berkshire. The windscreen was all frosted up and it was very hard work trying to decant 8kgs of pure unrefined shea butter. Due to the natural occurring stearic in shea, the butter hardens up in cold temperatures. At least, all the pots are on their way to good warm homes.

Shelves are stacked with mince pies and tinsels. I hate to say it but the countdown has already begun to the festive season. Why not treat yourself or loved ones to some gorgeous handmade natural products by yours truly:
